We’ve got some brilliant free events coming up.

We’re really excited about our programme of upcoming events as we move into Autumn.

It’s only a few weeks until we take visitors behind the scenes for Heritage Open Day. Come along and join a guided tour of our Strong Room, where we keep and care for the entire archive collection. This is a chance to see part of the Archive that isn’t usually open to the public and get an insight into how the team supports the business day-to-day.

Our next Sparky Saturday is the M&S Archive Challenge Badge Day! With a specially designed activity booklet full of fun tasks to complete, visitors of all ages can get involved. Those who finish the challenge will be awarded a limited edition fabric M&S Archive Challenge Badge to take home. We’ve also got our usual free refreshments and exhibition trails so there’ll be lots to do!

Don’t worry if you can’t make it to Leeds, we’ve got an online talk coming up in October, all about Design at M&S – it’ll be fascinating, and one of our Archivists will be on hand to answer your questions in real time. November brings our Family Christmas Crafternoon. Our wonderful freelance crafters will be bringing along brilliant things to make – perfect for presents!
