Digital Retail Skills Teaching Resource for SEND Learners – Now Live!

Taking our Retail Skills workshop beyond the Archive

We’re excited to launch the digital version of our Retail Skills workshop for learners with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Created with teachers and tested by students, this new, free online resource brings all the best bits of our in‑person workshop into the classroom.

For over a year, our SEND workshops have helped learners build confidence in real‑world skills, and Retail Skills has proved very popular. Students can practice customer service skills, design eye‑catching product displays, and build interview skills that help them demonstrate their strengths.

Now, all the components of the workshop are available digitally: short films, printable resources, a teacher’s guide, and ready‑to‑use slides. Educators can pick and mix from a menu of activities, tailoring each session to their learners’ needs, interests and pace.

Accessible and adaptable, this digital toolkit gives learners an opportunity to explore the skills used in retail and identify and develop their own strengths.
